The internet is an amazing thing, and there are so very many game developers that entirely cut communication with their communities as the game is developed. When you look at all of the biggest, best made, and most popular games, one of the things they all have in common is that their developers keep in contact with their communities. (See Jeff Kaplain's videos for Overwatch, or Subnautica's public Trello page)
Keeping in contact with your community is ESPECIALLY important for projects created on kickstarter because it keeps the game from dying before it releases because people hear NOTHING from the developers and feel like they wasted the money backing it when they hear nothing from the people who took their money.
In Short, I would like to ask that Magnus Games give us a somewhat regular update as to what's happening. These updates DO NOT require they reveal content that is supposed to be kept until the release date, they can be even fairly vague. Simply knowing that you guys are working on this, instead of being left to guess, is GREATLY preferable. The updates you guys gave during the kickstarter were a breath of fresh air with other game developers leaving so much of their games to the users' imagination. That being said, they do not have to be as detailed, we just need the slightest of progress updates.
These updates do not have to be a whole video, like that of Overwatch, but simply a 5-minute Forum post every now and then would do absolute wonders for the game. (Not only that but getting a person interested in a game's development leads to more people buying the game, if anything can be taken from the flop that was No Man's Sky)
TL:DR: Magnus Games would greatly benefit from giving their community progress updates in an effort to stop the game dying before it releases, as many kickstarter games do.
