I, was just thinking that for the solo players you should be able to bring the villagers with you into combat, like in Rune Factory 3-4? For online as well; lets say your friend joins the party, and no one else does; you could invite two villagers to come with you and your friend, since player max is 1-4.
On a side note, just from the style of the game would it not be worth considering to bring to a portable system like 3ds, or PS Vita?
@ Knightshade Not to mention it would probably open up a new avenue genre all on its own. Multiplayer sim-rpg connect with friends and/ or randoms, and bring villagers with you for solo play, and if theres no one to fill that spot online. I MEAN IKR !?
I agree I have a PC for this game but the potential for portable is considerable since if you have that portable system you can join other legend players that are local to your area and form guilds and groups with them. The potential is limitless with this. The PC community is massive but local players on a global scale has far more potential to meet new people and create unique play styles and have fun with friends in the real world.
I mean when you think about it how else would you even get to know the villagers more, before you even start events with them. Gift giving, hands down is good for this game, but it shouldn't stop there not when their are so many hopes for this game, and how many people rush paid to get it started. We are counting on you Magnus games PLEASE don't disappoint us.
@ Felizwerg Great Point you may have convinced me to a certain extent I'll have to get a switch after my ps4, i know its on ps4 but like you I feel this is better suited to a portable system like the switch. Im pretty sure the game wouldnt have come out yet by then, but also no doubt soon.
@Dexsas I totally see your point, the game would be great on the 3DS! It could reach a lot more people because of the reasons you mentioned...but I'm actually very happy that the game will be out on practically every bigger console at least! Would have been really sad if console players had no chance at all to play this awesome game! But since I'm a happy Switch-owner I will get it for the Switch due to the fact that I'll be able to play the game on the go. If they hadn't reached this stretch goal I'd go for the PC version. Maybe they just want to be a part of the newer Nintendo console...or maybe the Multiplayer is easier to handle on the Switch or it would be too expansive to bring it out on another platform and they had to chose between 3DS and Switch...They'll have their reasons, I suppose^^
@ Felizwerg I meant a portable system thats actually affordable, and most everyone has, just saying it could get the game out there. Not saying at all that switch is bad nonnonononono, but 300 dollars I mean c'mon really on top of the fact youd be lucky to get one, and it freaking came out last year =_=/ BUT switch is cool too XD
#Just Saying....
@ ForestDew thats good I guess but bringing villagers with you into combat for solo and multi with their own magnus will add more depth to the game. You'd get to know more about the villagers that way outside of festivals, and events.
The Hilarousness of something like this could only be accomplished by bringing the villagers with you. The only difference is that they would have a magnus. Just saying could make the game even more awesome
The game will be on a portable system: Nintendo Switch ;) But it would really go well on the 3DS as well, I think.
From what I understood, it's possible to bring multiple magnuses with you, opposed to have only one when playing multiplayer.
