I enjoyed the art style, being given one of each weapon to try out, and the design of the farm so far. What follows are requests or things that I did not like about the game thus far.
1. Being able to reconfigure the controls would be very helpful. I find F as the use/interact key to be particularly awkward so being able to remap it to another key or a mouse button would help.
2. Similarly, controller support would be appreciated. The first screen I saw in the game referenced a controller but in the actual game the 360 controller did not appear to be fully supported.
3. Characters often ask if you want to accept a quest before you know what it is. I understand that most people are going to always accept any quest in the game because, it's a game and that's the point, but then why even make me have to consent to the quest? Also, the cut scenes that play out after accepting the quest are jarring because they often change the context of the conversation I was having. For example, I met Lloyd for the first time and he asks if I want to help him. I say yes and then suddenly I'm walking back into the shop and he is asleep on the floor. This does not really make sense from a narrative stand point.
4. Also, I wanted to draw attention to the cut scenes showing off the town after the player wakes up with the nurse. Given how there is no sense of where any of the locations are in relationship to each other and how it is hard to tell what most of the structures are, I found those scenes confusing/awkward. I assume they were meant to inspire or pique my curiosity but they just felt random. And speaking of Edna, is there a reason she is a nurse and not a doctor?
