Dropped the Rabbitray fish in the pool and it's lost. I couldn't progress (softlocked)

I couldn't retrieve it back. After fishing it up in the temple, I went to my farm and dropped (not throw) it into the large pool. It's gone and it doesn't go back to the chest in the quest log. I tried going back to the same fishing spot but it's been hours already and I couldn't find another one. I also tried resetting my game, didn't work either. Help, I couldn't progress anymore. I can't go to the next island since apparently, you can only get the rabbitray fish once. :( I hope someone will notice. Thank you! My game version, as of writing, is 15.8.3
